‘The Library’ is a project that focuses on important topics such as gun violence, mental health, and human connections. The movie follows the story of the survivor of a school shooting who re-lives her trauma when she brings her daughter to her first day of school. With the use of recreation and flashback, we show the character’s trauma and fears, and how she never got over that trauma. As the writer and producer of this film, my goal was to create two strong female figures with an incredible connection between them but also to give myself a place to work with my creativity.
